While trials across the UK are already underway, our recent research found that almost half of UK drivers would currently refuse to be a passenger in a driverless vehicle.
“With human error accounting for around 90% of road accidents, the potential safety benefits of driverless cars are significant. But, before the autonomous car revolution can get out of first gear, the industry will need to allay people’s safety concerns.”
