Today, npower has announced that it will waive daily standing charges for its domestic energy customers impacted by the recent floods. Responding to the news, Tom Lyon, energy expert at Uswitch.com, says: “npower’s decision to waive daily standing charges for households affected by the recent, devastating floods is to be welcomed, and we urge other suppliers to follow suit. It’s only right that providers do all they can to help ease the distress of those forced from their homes.”
