Commenting on EE launching a refreshed range of 4G SIM-only plans Rob Kerr, mobiles expert at Uswitch.com, says**:**
“EE’s revamp of its SIM-only plans still leaves the network trailing behind what others are offering for a similar price.
“It could be a little too late, despite the increase in data, because its competitors are offering up to four times the internet and web surfing allowances.
“However, with SIM-only emerging as this year’s winner, EE is shrewd to now be focusing on revamping these deals.
“Even with a raft of new smartphones from big hitters like Nokia, Samsung and Apple coming on to the market, there’s a definite feeling of ‘handset fatigue’. Mobile makers are having to work harder than ever to get our attention, and slight improvements to earlier generation handsets will no longer cut the mustard with mobile shoppers.”
